Keeping in view of the urgency of universalization of elementary education and secondary education in the country. It is necessary and social responsibility to affair the fulfillment or required qualified and trained teacher’s in the school of the country. Realizing this social responsibility, the Jyotsana started a teacher education institute in the name of Jyotsana College of Education in 2014 which aims to prepare , professional teachers for the schools for the 21st century. The college is committed in providing quality teacher education to our student teacher’s to fulfill Regularity committee (AFRC) of State Government as amended form time to time. The fee will be collected through bak/D.D. presently. The college charges Thirty two thousand rupees (32,000) fees per year from each candidate in B.Ed.

About Us :-

                The Jyotsana College of Education is a state of art teachers college located at Hadbado, Distt- Sidhi Which is about 5 km. away from the Sidhi city in Madhya Pradesh State. The college is affiliated to Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, (APSU) Rewa and recognised by the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers two year’s regular course in Bachlor of Education (B.Ed.)

Building :-

        Total built up area in building is 2301.70 sq.m. The college building has a well stacked library with attached reading room that can a accommodate 50 students, as modern multimedia (I.C.T.) Lab, a well established psychology Lab with all essential tests and apparatus, a fully furnished craft room, class rooms seminar hall, multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 200 students, well equipped science lab, physical our objectives and commitment the college has all the infrastructural and instructional facilities with the qualified and experienced faculty and supporting staff.

Sports :-

        Games and sports are in integral part of the curriculum of all teacher education programmes. It is also in the norms of NCTE that every college should have facilities for games and sports.

–        Facilities for outdoor games- Volley ball, football, kho-kho, kabaddi, basket ball etc.

          Nearly 7 km. from the Bus Stand, Sidhi. College located in the institutional area spread over 4000 sq.m. of Land in Hadbado. The campus provides a safe environment with the presence of round the clock security. The campus also provides vehicle parking, sports fields with Lush green lawns create unique ambience.

Admission procedure :-

              The Jyotsana College of Education has basic capacity of one hundred (100) students (Two Unit) in B.Ed. Admission of student is mode on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of state Govt. and the university, Reservation of seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities and other categories are as per the rules of the state government.

Arts :-

        To provide adequate opportunities of exploration and exposure to different areas of art works to different student teacher’s, the college has a well equipped art room where these student teacher can acquire and enhance necessary skills in different areas of art experiences.

Craft :-

        To provide practice in various fields of work in order to help the teacher their aptitudes and capabilities, the college has a well equipped and furnished craft room where the student teacher can gain experience in useful and productive work and also faster their creativity.
